Tracy Marie Laverty

Loudonville-Tracy Marie Laverty, 31 years old passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013. She is survived by her mother, Cornelia Laverty O’Connor, her step-father Patrick O’Connor. She was deeply beloved by her late father, James Michael Laverty, brother Conor (wife Colleen) Laverty of Half Moon, brother Christian James Laverty of Beverly Massachusetts; step-brothers John and Andrew O’Connor, loving friends Shannon Casey and Daniel Codden; Aunts and Uncles, Bridget and Joe Vaughan, Co. Mayo, Ireland; Catherine and Gerard Vaughan, Nassau, NY; Nora and Dennis Leonard of Castleton, NY; Kyrle and Anne Holland, Plymouth, Massachusetts; John and Kathleen Holland, Co. Cork, Ireland; Maria and John Russell, Co. Cork, Ireland. She loved life with a passion. She was totally committed to making others happy. She gave life everything she had and more. She drew others to the flame of spontaneous joy. She had a consuming passion for innovation, studying to create a culture of innovation for her P.H.D. From the beginning, she marched to a different drummer. Tracy wrote her own script; she was the mistress of her own destiny. She is now joined in heaven with her loving father, Grandpa Cornelius Holland and Grandma Marie Holland. Her incredible spirit will live on in each of us as we journey through the many tomorrows. Tracy earned her BS from Siena College, and her MBA from UAlbany, and is a candidate for her P.H.D. at RPI. Funeral services Monday, March 11, 2013 at 9:00 am from McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to the Historic Church of St. Mary on Capitol Hill, Albany at 9:30am where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday, March 10, 2013 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
