Rose Mary Audino

Albany-Rose Mary Audino, 90 years young, entered into Eternal Life Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at St. Peter’s Hospital. She was the daughter of Maria and Pasquale Zibella of Saugerties. Rose Mary received a BS degree from the College of St. Rose and a MA degree from New York University, where she was a member of their Pi Epsilon Society. She also received an elementary teaching degree from SUNY New Paltz. Rose Mary retired from the Albany City School District after teaching for over 25 years. She was a member of Holy Cross Church, and following retirement she volunteered as a teacher’s aid in their school. She was also a member of the Ladies Guild and Altar group at Holy Cross Church. Rose Mary was a former active member of Westland Hills Little League, where she served as assistant treasurer. She was predeceased in April of 2009 by her beloved husband, John J. Audino, Sr. She was the cherished mother of John J. Audino, Jr (Tina) of Colonie, Carmon G. Audino (Assunta) of Colonie, and Joseph A. Audino (Lolita) of Las Vegas; beloved grandmother of Joseph, Monique, Nicolette, Alicia, Peter, Christopher, and Tiffany; sister of the late Mildred Buonfiglio, Nettie Zibella, Joseph Zibella, Fay Washburn, Tony Zibella, and Ann Paganoni; great grandmother of Maliah Ellis; several nieces, nephews and cousins survive. Funeral services Saturday August 8, 2009 at 8:15 am from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen street, Albany thence to Holy Cross Church, Albany at 9:00 am where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday, August 7, 2009, 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
