Joseph Fernando Roberti

Albany, NY-Joseph Fernando Roberti, 86, entered Eternal Life Monday, February 3, 2025 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Albany, Joe was a first generation Italian-American and son of Raffaele and Fenesia Badei Roberti. He graduated from Philip Schuyler High School, Hudson Valley Community College, and Empire State College. Joe worked for Beltrone Construction as a mason, Albany Renewal Agency, and later as an enforcement inspector for Albany Housing Authority. Joe later owned and operated A. Peace of Mind Home Inspection-LLC. He was a member of the Colonie Elks and Bricklayers Allied Craftworkers Local 2. Joe loved to cook and bake and was widely known for his delicious Stromboli Bread. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a former Karate Black Belt. Family and friends though was the most important thing for Joe, especially visiting his daughter and grandchildren in Arizona. He was the devoted husband for 64 years of Nancy M. Camarota Roberti; beloved father of Marie Ann Roberti-Esposito; cherished grandfather of Isabella Antonette Esposito and Sergio Joseph Esposito; brother of the late Rose Wells, Marie Takes, and Raffaelle Roberti Jr; son in law of the late Julius and Antonette Martinese Camarota; brother in law of Eugene Camarota (Avis Parkis) and the late Angelo Camarota and Bernard Camarota; survived by several loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Joseph’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital. Funeral services Monday, February 10, 2025 at 9:30 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Delaware Ave., Albany, NY where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
