William H. Picard Jr Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Altamont, NY-William H., Picard, Jr, 84, entered Eternal Life Monday, August 1, 2022 at Teresian House. Born in Albany, he was the son of William H. Picard Sr and Elizabeth Van Olinda Picard. He was predeceased by the love of his life Barbara Vadney Picard and their son David William Picard. His life motto was God first, family and friends. Bill was a devoted grandfather. He was a familiar face at every sporting event and special day in all of his grandchildren’s lives. He traveled near and far for them, and they were his greatest joy. He was the father of Sandra Pulver (Jack) and Christine West (William); grandpa of Lauren Pulver Sayward, Fabio Ritmo, William Pulver, John Pulver, and Alexander Ritmo; great grandfather of Sadie Pulver; brother of Howard Picard (Ann) and JoAnn Boucher (Roger); brother-in-law and friend of Russell Vadney and his wife Sylvia; several nieces and nephews survive. A very special thank you to the Carmel Gardens staff who became family at the Teresian House for the sincere love and compassion given to Bill (Pops). His Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00 pm at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, Maria Drive, Loudonville, NY. The Rite of Committal will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery immediately following the Mass.
