Thomas L. Frazier Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Guilderland- Thomas L. Frazier, Sr., 73, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021 at home with his family at his side. Tom was a graduate of Vincentian Institute, class of 1965. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1966-1969. Tom worked for Price Chopper – Market 32 for over 50 years, retiring as Store Manager. He was a Past Commander of the Nathaniel Adams Blanchard Post #1040 American Legion. He is survived by his wife Nancy Wideman Frazier; children Thomas Frazier, Jr. (Jill), Jim Frazier, Marie Spain (Bob), Lori Haertel (Mike) and Dana Balzer (Tom); also survived by 13 grandchildren. Tom was predeceased by his grandmother Lelia Northrup, his father Leland and mother Dolores, his brother Peter and sister in law Kathy. We would like to thank all the staff at NYOH Patroon Creek and New Scotland locations for the exceptional care given to Tom. In these difficult times of battling cancer through Covid, the care and love shown by Miriam, Amy(s), Nicole(s), Dr. Kambam and Dr. Davis and so many others is very much appreciated. We also want to thank Hospice for the care and comfort they provided Tom and our entire family in the final hours. Hollye, Chi, Sue and others that came whenever care was needed, you are the light and love that sees us through dark and difficult times and we are very grateful. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 11:00 am in Christ the King Church, Guilderland, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Masks and Social Distancing are required. Relatives and Friends may visit with Tom’s family after 10:00 am at the church. The Rite of Committal will take place in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. In lieu of flowers donations in Tom’s memory can be made to St. Anne Institute or The Community Hospice.
