    Richard L. Murray

    November 28, 1948 - January 11, 2021

    Clifton Park- Richard L. Murray, 72 Entered Eternal Life Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Stratton VA Medical Center. Born and raised in Albany to the late John Murray and Olivette (Samuel) Jacobus. He served honorably and faithfully to his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Richard was proud to be a Marine. Richard loved to visit casinos with his sister and friends, spending afternoons at Saratoga Race Course during track season, good dinners, great friendships where he would chauffer his friends around and above all he loved his family. In addition to his parents Richard was pre deceased by his brothers John S. Murray III and Robert “Lisle” L. Jacobus. He is survived by a son; his sisters Shannon Murray, Marla Secore, Kelly Jacobus, Jill Jacobus; his dear friends Darren, Danielle, Katie and Jack Donohue, Kenny Raymond and Bindy. He will be missed by so many who knew him but remembered forever. Funeral Services with full Military Honors will be held later this summer in Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
