Judith Ann Jones Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Albany- Judith (‘Judy’) Ann Jones,74, passed away with family by her side after a long battle with cancer on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at her residence in Glenville, NY. She was born in Troy, NY to the late Lester Jones and Mary Burdick. Judy worked as a Clerk for the NYS Department of Criminal Justice Services (‘DCJS’). She was known for her infectious smile and witty personality and had a love for all things, particularly plants and flowers. Judy really enjoyed and loved her grandchildren the most. She is survived by her son Joshua Hasselbach; brothers Richard, Michael and Jonathan Jones, and sisters Mary Sullivan and Melissa Pingel, her dear friend (‘BFF’ as she was fond of saying) of nearly 45 years, Nancy Noonan; Also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Judith Lee Jones. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Judith’s family Saturday, March 19th, 2022, in the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen Street, Albany, NY 12206 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A simple prayer service will begin at 3:00 pm in the funeral home. Individuals are respectfully asked to follow current CDC, NYS, or County COVID-19 recommendations.
