Joseph F. "Buddy" Nigro

Loudonville-Joseph F. “Buddy” Nigro, 88, entered Eternal Life Monday, January 3, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Frank J. and Mary Scocca Nigro. Buddy graduated from Christian Brothers Academy and attended Manhattan College. He began working in the family business, Albany Public Markets at an entry level and made his way up to the highest management levels. Joe went on to own and operate the Town & Country Car Wash for many years. He enjoyed owning and racing Harness horses and restoring antique cars. He was the beloved husband for 41 years of Laura Nigro; dear father of Michael Nigro (Laura), Joseph Nigro (Jan), Karen Barosi (Brian), William Nigro (Wendy) and Nicholas Nigro; cherished grandfather of Justine Nigro, Lindsay Nigro, Austin Barosi, Kara Barosi, Jonah Nigro and Zachary Nigro; brother of Frank Nigro Jr, John Nigro and Donald Nigro; many nieces and nephews survive.
