Eva Lucy Graziano Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Albany-Eva Lucy Graziano, 73, entered into Eternal Life Sunday, July 17, 2022 at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in Albany, she was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Bertha Sansone Graziano. Eva graduated from Colonie Central High School, and Maria College with a degree in nursing. She retired as the Immunization Coordinator after 31 years with the Albany County Department of Health. Eva continued to work at the Health Department after her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Italy, flowers and gardening, WAIBS Pizza on Friday nights, music, the ocean and beach, and volunteering at Catholic Charites. She was member of the American Italian Heritage Museum. But more than any of this, Eva loved being with her family and friends. Baking Italian Easter meat pies and Christmas cookies with her family each year, spending time with her circle of dear friends…including her Birthday Groups. Eva held dearly all the beautiful moments in life she shared with everyone, and in return her family and friends cherished those same memories. She was the beloved mother of Joseph J. Colby (Steffiney) and Keith Colby; dear sister of Linda Colonno (Vincent W.); cherished grandmother of Joseph L. Colby and Kelsey Colby; loving aunt of Andrea Colonno (Michael Frazier) and Vincent A. Colonno (Dulce); great aunt Fifa to Vincent M. Colonno and Matteo Colonno; longtime forever friend of Jeanne Spinelli; many other dear friends also survive. Funeral services Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 9:00 am at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville, NY where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
