Clermont Fl- Dennis F. Mest, son of Daniel and Dorothy Mest, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. He was born in Allentown, PA on March 30, 1939. Dennis is survived by his loving wife Suzanne E. Lavigne-Mest and his daughters Grace May of Bedminster, NJ and Julie Shaw of Ridgefield, CT. He is also survived by his grandchildren Hannah Szepkouski of Providence, RI, Michael Shaw of NY, NY and Emma Shaw of NY, NY Dennis enjoyed a successful career as a program manager for public television at SUNY Central (State University of New York at Albany). He was an award-winning photographer, an avid traveler, and an excellent chef. His ready smile will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dennis’s family on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022 from 8:30 am to 10:00 am in the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany, NY 12206. Individuals are respectfully asked to follow current CDC, NYS, or County COVID-19 recommendations. Dennis’s Memorial Mass will immediately follow at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Avenue, Albany, New York (Father John Bradley Way) at 10:30 am. The Rite of Committal will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.
