Attilio Q. Crisafulli

Loudonville-Attilio Q. Crisafulli, 87, entered Eternal Life Monday, May 31, 2021 with his loving family watching over him. Born in Antillo, Messina, Sicily he was the son of the late Joseph and Domenica Curto Crisafulli. Attilio emigrated to the United States with his family in 1949 and became a proud naturalized citizen in 1959. He became a true patriot of his new country by serving in the United States Army. Attilio went on to share in the American Dream by having a beautiful family, and success in business. He was president for almost 50 years of both A. & I. Crisafulli General Contractors, and Crisafulli Realty. He was a longtime member of the West Albany Italian American Benevolent Society. And although Attilio enjoyed playing cards, traveling, and gardening, his greatest pleasures came from spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and other family members. He was the loving husband for 63 years of Italia Sanfilippo Crisafulli, whom he married on August 4, 1958; beloved father of Dr. Joseph A. Crisafulli (Rosemarie) and Lisa P. Bedian (George); cherished grandfather of Joseph D. Crisafulli (Katie), Dr. Maura Kate Crisafulli, Taramarie Rose Crisafulli, Daniel G. Bedian and Thomas J. Bedian; great grandfather of Joseph F. Crisafulli and Caroline Crisafulli; brother of Charles Crisafulli (Late Judy), Lee Pietrocola (Richard) and the late Mary Curto, Joseph Crisafulli, James Crisafulli, and Fiore Crisafulli; brother-in-law of Nancy Crisafulli and Nina Crisafulli; he is survived by 35 nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Angels that cared for Attilio in his last days, along with The Community Hospice. Funeral services Friday, June 4, 2021 at 9:00 am at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Please only enter the church from the front doorway; church ambassadors will be available to help with seating and questions; if vaccinated, please seat yourselves in main section of the Church (masks optional and no social distancing); if unvaccinated or are uncomfortable not social distancing, the two sides of Church are available where social distancing and masks will be required; and please attempt to arrive 15 minutes before the Mass.
