Anna Ruggeri

March 31, 1928 - March 31, 2018

Albany- Anna Teresa Ruggeri passed away peacefully at Teresian House on March 31, 2018, her 90th birthday. Born March 31, 1928, she was the daughter of Concetta (Jenny) Ruggeri and Frank W. Ruggeri. She was a lifelong resident of Albany. She worked for the State of New York in the Tax and Finance Department and the Office of General Services, retiring in 1988. Anna was a member of Historic St. Mary’s Church. Previousy she was a member of the former St. Anthony’s Church and the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, where she was a member of the Parish Council and a Eucharistic Minister. Anna is survived by her second family and dearest friends, Sister Vicki Lauria, O.P., Mary Lauria and Lucille Campito. Anna is also survived by many dear friends and cousins. Anna was a very kind, generous and loving person. She was always there and doing for others, from knitting gifts to being a good, caring listener. She will be missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to the staff of Teresian House and her many aides who cared for her over the years. Funeral services Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Teresian House, Albany, NY where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
