Linda C. Femia-Rahm

Albany, NY-With great sorrow and sadness we announce the death of Linda C. Femia-Rahm, who passed away suddenly on March 13, 2023. Linda was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine Femia and was born December 13, 1951 in Albany, Linda attended grade school at St. Cathrine’s of Siena (Mater Christi) and graduated from Cardinal McCloskey High School. Linda worked at many different jobs through out the years in addition to being a full time wife and mother. She loved waitressing and being a home care aid both of which she did all of her married life. Linda is survived by her husband Donald, her beloved sons Michael (Casey), Patrick (Michelle), her most loved grandsons Mason and Braedyn, her sister Theresa Leonard, niece Kelly Leonard, sister-in-law Kim Femia, niece Brianna Femia, mother-in-law Mary Rahm, several in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Angelo Femia, brother-in-law James Leonard, close cousin Nancy Cordi and father-in-law Donald R. Rahm. Linda was extremely kind, loving, outgoing and a generous woman. She was so giving. She loved traveling the world with best friends and family. TALKING to people and helping others when or wherever she could. Everybody and everything came before herself or her needs. Family above all, being a wife, mother and grandmother, hosting her near weekly dinners and summer gatherings were her specialty! She loved to see everyone happy. Linda had such a good personality and a passion for life, friends and family. She will be so missed by her family, relatives and best friends Anna Conor and Eileen Bridegroom, co-workers and so many others. Funeral services Monday, March 20, 2023 at 12:30 pm at the Parish of Mater Christi, Albany, NY where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Mass.
