Daniella Marie Sullivan

Albany, NY-Daniella Marie Sullivan, 36, beloved wife of Anthony Sullivan, of New London, CT passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, July 19, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family and her "fur babies". Besides her husband Anthony of 14 years and her parents Peter and Maureen of Albany, New York. Daniella was the granddaughter of the late Charles and Patricia Allardice and the late Peter and Mary Nati. She is survived by her three sisters, Brittany Nati and her children, Maverick and Levi of Albany, Casey Nati, and her husband, Sam Marollo, Rochester, NY and Alanna Nati and her daughter, Lennon. She also leaves behind her in-laws, John and Lindsay Sullivan of Florida and many aunts, uncles, friends and cousins, especially Katy Paulsen of Albany. Lastly, she is survived by her beloved and faithful dogs, Meika and Mia. She was born on December 29, 1987 in Albany, NY and was the daughter of Peter and Maureen Allardice Nati. Daniella was a graduate of Colonie HS Class of 2005. She received her BA from the University of Albany Class of 2009 and earned her MS in Education from the University of New Haven in 2012. Daniella was an English teacher in the Hartford CT school systems. She was a passionate and dedicated teacher. Daniella loved her job, loved her students and was a role model to all she taught. She recently was awarded Great Path Academy Teacher of the Year for 2024; a recognition she was extremely proud and deserving of. Daniella was also a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, dog mom, and friend. She loved spending time at the beach with friends, cooking for her and her husband, crafting for special events, visiting historically haunted sites, and being with her nephews and niece any chance she could. A sports lover, she got her love for the Dallas Cowboys from her father. Her favorite baseball team was the NY Yankees, and most recently the Colonie Little League where her nephews played. Daniella was competitive in everything she did, from playing Wordle daily with her friends and family to her school's annual House Cup Tournament; she took everything to the highest interpretation. A true fighter. Despite her fierce competitiveness, she always put everyone first. She was a selfless person who left a lasting impact on not only her loved ones but also her students. She was truly a blessing; a light dimmed too soon.
