Aline C. Cardona

Delmar-Aline C. Cardona, 71, entered into Eternal Life Tuesday evening, October 4, 2016 at Good Samaritan Lutheran Health Care Center with her cherished family at her side. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Eulalia Dorr Stehle. Aline was a proud graduate of Catholic Central High School. She spent several years as a secretary at Bethlehem Central High School. Aline’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially during holidays, family vacations and summers on Lake George. She and Tony loved to travel with their friends. She also enjoyed dancing, Broadway shows, reading, and lunches with her “Lunch Bunch.” Aline expressed her love for family and friends through sharing the amazing food she cooked. Aline was the dear wife of the late Honorable Anthony Victor Cardona, who was the Presiding Justice of the Appellate Division, Third Department; beloved mother of Elizabeth Keller (John), Anthony V. Cardona Jr (Stenia), David B. Cardona and his companion Nicole, and Brian C. Cardona (Meghan); loved and cherished grandmother of Madeleine, David, Samuel, Nicholas, Dominick, Benjamin, Zoe, and Moonya; sister of Mary Hetman (Mike), and Nancy Bradford (late George). Aline is also survived by several other loving family members, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services Monday, October 10, 2016 at 9:30 am from the McVeigh Funeral Home, Albany thence to the Historic Church of St. Mary on Capitol Hill, Albany at 10:00 am where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will be held immediately following the Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.
