Michael J. Moruzzi

Clifton Park, NY-Michael J. Moruzzi, 56, entered Eternal Life at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood, NJ on Thursday, March 30, 2023 with his beloved family at his side. Born in North Adams, MA he is the son of Carlo and Margaret Rocray Moruzzi. Michael Moruzzi was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Marisa Moruzzi (n.e. Rubino) and his two daughters Samantha and Anne Moruzzi. He is the brother of Jim Moruzzi (Meg) and Joanne Skudder (n.e. Moruzzi) (Paul), son-in-law of Robert and Anne Rubino, and brother-in-law of Greg Rubino (Lisa) and John Rubino (Hadley). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He believed in always seeing the positive in life and finding the good in everyone. Mike was a true gentleman who created incredible beauty in both his work and in his family life. He spread this beauty through the fruits of his flourishing garden and the memorable details that he added to all of his woodworking projects, pursuing these passions for his family to enjoy. Mike passed away after a valiant two-year battle against cancer. Throughout this time, he truly embodied what it means to be a fighter. Mike worked as an Architect for MJ Engineering and Land Surveying for 15 years. His love for his country led him to dedicate much of his career to designing VA hospitals and other military facilities. He brought beauty to the small details of these projects which had a lasting and meaningful impact.
