Linda A. Zeoli

Albany, NY—Linda Zeoli, 71, of Albany, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024. She was born on September 4, 1952, in Albany’s South End. She was the daughter of Josephine Marchese Castle and Patrolman Frank Castle. She graduated from Vincentian Institute High School and received her Nursing degree (LPN) at Albany Medical Center College and her RN degree from Russell Sage College. Her 40-year nursing career began at St. Peters. She quickly moved to Albany Medical Center, where she would spend most of her career. During her tenure at AMC, she worked on many specialty floors, including the patient learning center, vascular, and orthopedics. She also worked for many years as a private duty nurse, touching the lives of countless patients. She became a case manager on the pediatrics floor at AMC and, in her last years before retirement, she worked at Anthem Blue. Although her career was impressive, she felt her greatest accomplishment was her children. She cherished every moment she spent with them, whether it was a family dinner, backyard barbeque, or family vacation. She never wanted to be without her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Italian American Community Center and a longtime parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany. She was predeceased by the love of her life and husband of 48 years, Mickey Zeoli, her brother-in-laws, Chuck, Angelo (Rose), and Thomas Zeoli, and her best friend, Ann Campagna. Linda is survived by her son, Frank Zeoli (Nancy), her daughter and caregiver, Maggie Hunt (Jeff), and her two grandchildren, Michael Zeoli II and Josephine Delvalle. She is also survived by her sister Terry Bardwell (Bill), her sister-in-laws Nancy Zeoli and Marie Bubonia (Steve). Her nieces Tiffany Bardwell (Brian), Lisa Zeoli, Brena Fish (Damon) and her nephews Chuck Zeoli (Kim) and Stephen Bubonia III. Family members Barbara Weir, Lisa Kissane (Christopher, Annemarie) and her closest friend Nancy Grace. Funeral services Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, 607 Central Ave. (Father John Bradley Way), Albany, NY 12206 where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
